Rutherford, Napa Valley
Tasting Notes:
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic example of the "Rutherford dust" character that is so easily lost with aggressive winemaking.
Bright ruby in color, with vivid aromas of plum, raspberry, violets, sage and dusty earth. The beautifully textured mid-palate is loaded with cherry pie, tobacco, pomegranate, blackberry, licorice and spice box. The finish is supple and engaging with it’s layered fruit and velvety tannins.
Vineyards:
Our fruit comes from the beautiful Round Pond Estate vineyards. Each row has been selected and meticulously tended to by our winemaker to insure that each vine produces the highest quality fruit showing the unique, alluvial Rutherford soils that resulted from the changing path of Conn Creek and the Napa River over the last several thousand years.
